Canceled or Renewed: What's the fate of your favorite TV show?

Television has really saved us during the pandemic. If it weren't for our favorite characters on TV, we'd all be going a bit (more) stir-crazy. When COVID-19 hit during the spring, a lot of our small-screen favorites, like This Is Us and Modern Family, had already completed their planned shooting schedules – so audiences were treated to fully realized seasons. But many shows, like The Walking Dead and The Goldbergs, didn't get a chance to wrap things up. This brings us now... many series typically begin production on their fall premieres during the summer, and with the pandemic restrictions still in place, a lot of television shows haven't had the chance to film a single frame. So what's this mean? Well, we're not sure exactly. As it gets down to the wire, it's uncertain when our favorite shows will return with new episodes. And even though we can't peg specific return dates, we can, however, confirm some the shows that are set to come back and the ones that are getting the ax.
