Camilla Reveals Five Book Recommendations for Summer Reading
Camilla Reveals Five Book Recommendations for Summer Reading
We're all spending more time inside these days, so why not crack open a good book? That seems to be the idea between the Duchess of Cornwall's reading lists, the first of which came out in April. "In these challenging times when we are isolated from the ones we love, many of us are finding comfort in reading, to fire up our imaginations, to take us on journeys and to make us laugh," she explained at the time.
Now, Camilla is revealing a second round of recommendations, selected with summer in mind. "I am delighted to share a few more of my favorite books," she said. "At present, it might be ambitious to describe them as 'beach reads,' but I very much hope they provide a welcome bit of escapism." From mysteries to multi-generational dramas—and even one novel about a royal scandal at the French court—all five picks sound intriguing.
