Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes Give Instagram the Makeout Video It Hasn't Been Waiting For
Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello have been photographing by paparazzi kissing everywhere, from pools to restaurants. Apparently their kissing style in photos has drawn some criticism from fans, so Cabello and Mendes posted a video on Instagram to address it...and show everyone how they really makeout.
"So we saw on Twitter and stuff you guys saying stuff about the way were kissing and how it looks weird, like we kiss like fish," Mendes said in the video.
"It really hurt our feelings," Cabello added.
"So we just want to show you how we really kiss," Mendes said.
"Yeah," Cabello said. And then they went in for it, and there was a lot of tongue:

Sure, the video was comedic, but it also serves as crystal clear proof directly from Mendes and Cabello that they're dating. Cabello spoke to ELLE in its October issue about whether she believes the secrecy around her and Mendes' relationship initially created more buzz around them.
"I don’t know; people can say whatever they want to say," Cabello said. "They can speculate, but at the same time, we are going to live our own lives, enjoy it, and fall for each other like nobody is watching. That is how I want to live. I never want to open the door for people to feel like they are involved. Like I said, I want it to be mine and [his]. That’s why I’m so tight-lipped about it: because I want to protect it."
