You Can Buy A PopSockets Made Specifically For Your Beers, Seltzers, And Coffees
If you're as likely to have a drink in hand as you are your phone, PopSockets has created the invention you've been dreaming of since you first became a 'Sock convert. The extension of the brand is called PopThirst, and it adds a PopGrip to what's essentially a Koozie...you know, the foam sleeves you collected in college that keep your drink cold and your hand from getting too chilly while you sip a beer. Now, those sleeves come with a spot for you to rest your thumb and get a better grip on your drink. As someone who regularly spills drinks for no discernible reason, I'm here for it.
There are two styles in the collection: PopThirst Can Holders and Cup Sleeves. As the name suggests, the can holders fit around most average-size cans and are designed with a "non-slip foam material that prevents hand slippage." They also come in some great patterns, from the Guy Fieri-inspired Claim To Flame design to the floral Arizona Iced Tea-reminiscent Retro Wild Rose. For less splashy prints, there's a solid black sleeve and a "Macaron Pink" option, plus seven other prints to choose from.
The cup sleeve wraps around most to-go coffee cups and pint glasses. It's meant to help keep hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold, and again has the pop-out hand grip that makes holding onto your drink a little bit comfier. On both styles, the PopGrip is swappable, too, meaning it twists off should you want a different design on there. It also pops out and folds back in flat for when it's not in use.
The new PopThirst line is here justtt in time for tailgating season and the holidays, two periods when a beer/seltzer/soda is likely to be in your hands often. Each one costs $15 and can be found on PopSockets' website now. They will be officially available to purchase starting September 15, which just so happens to be National Tailgating Day.
