Brittany Snow Was IRL Cinderella at the 2019 Emmys
Brittany Snow served up some bibbidi-bobbidi-boo on the Emmys red purple carpet tonight.
The 33-year-old Someone Great star arrived at the 71st annual Emmy Awards looking like a real-life Cinderella in a stunning pale blue chiffon ballgown that deserves an award of its own.
Snow donned a Disney-esque icy blue strapless number with a ruched gathered waist, delicate white dots and a nude underlay. She explained during a red carpet interview that she chose the J. Mendel gown because it felt “effortless” and “classic old Hollywood.”
The Pitch Perfect star let her dress shine by forgoing a necklace and keeping her vibrant strawberry blonde hair behind her shoulders in loose Hollywood waves courtesy of celebrity hairstylist Riawna Capri. Snow also added a dramatic element to her ensemble with diamond drop State Property Mitra triplet full pavé 18-karat gold earrings. She completed the look with a Stephen Webster ring, Casadei shoes (sadly no Cinderella glass slippers here) and demure champagne colored nails.
Makeup artist Jenna Kristina made Snow’s blue peepers pop with light, iridescent makeup, long lashes and a statement lip with Mabeline New York’s Color Sensation Vivids Lipcolor in Vibrant Mandarin lipstick ($5). Who knew pale blue looked so good with a bright orange-y red?
Snow wasn’t the only one who opted for pale blue at this year’s awards show. Jameela Jamil, Regina King, Padma Lakshmi and Isla Fisher also followed suit.
Although she isn’t nominated this year, she does have a brand-new comedy series called Almost Family coming to Fox on October 2, so you never know what next year holds.
In the meantime, we’ll be lusting over this dress.
