Brendan Fraser is experiencing a resurgence in his career, thanks to his critically acclaimed movie The Whale. What's more, he's being recognized for his role by way of a Best Actor nomination at the 2023 Oscars. But he's not the only one celebrating his achievements — a special person in his life is as well.
Back in February, The Mummy star's girlfriend Jeanne Moore stood alongside him as he won Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role at the 2023 SAG Awards. The day after Brendan received one of the biggest recognitions of the night, she took to Instagram to post a series of photos documenting her partner's success. What's more, she paid tribute to everything he accomplished while making the film.
"Congrats to my incredibly talented man!!!" she wrote on February 27. "What an incredible honor!!! I am so proud of you!!! Cheers to an incredible team!!! #sagawardsbestactor."
Jeanne wasn't the only one proud of the Journey to the Center of the Earth actor. Fans picked up on Jeanne's rare public display of affection and immediately congratulated Brendan on his latest career milestone.
"Congratulations to Brendan! I love seeing you guys together on the red carpet and the way you just beam! Bring on the Oscars!" one person wrote on Instagram. "Awww. Congrats. He’s totally bringing home that Oscar too, @jeannemoore1001," another added. "I am so happy for him. He is truly deserving of this success. He is my favorite actor and I am just giddy seeing him get his due! (And you look gorgeous!!!)," a different user replied.
Now, that one of Hollywood's biggest events is here, it's likely folks will see the couple walk the red carpet together hand-in-hand. While it's unclear when Brendan and Jeanne first started dating, they debuted their relationship at the 2022 Venice Film Festival. It was also the place where the George of the Jungle alum received a six-minute ovation for his portrayal of reclusive English professor Charlie in The Whale.
What's more, Brendan has also recognized Jeanne's encouragement in this phase of his career. During his acceptance speech at the SAG Awards, he called her and other loved ones out for supporting him every step of the way.
"Without the love of my children, Griffin, Holden and Leland and their super mom [ex-wife] Afton [Smith] and my badass agent JoAnne Colonna and the clarion call that is my girl Jeanne, I wouldn't be able to do any of this," he said while onstage. "Thank you so very much. So grateful."
Needless to say, Brendan will be surrounded by lots of love, even if he doesn't win at the 2023 Oscars.
