UPDATE: This Boozy Hotel Has A Beer Tap In Every Room, And Is Opening Next Week
UPDATE: August 24, 2018 at 3:55 p.m.
Beer fans, rejoice! BrewDog's DogHouse hotel opens on Monday, August 27, per its website. The hotel, with 32 rooms and eight suites, is situated next to BrewDog's OverWorks, a new sour beer facility and taproom in Columbus, Ohio.
Each room has a fridge stocked with a curated selection of brews, and more importantly, a beer tap, with a BrewDog draft of your choice, the site says. Some rooms are dog-friendly, too.
BrewDogs means business about being a beer hotel. Its website says, "From your room, you can see, hear and smell our sour beer foeders and take it all in."
Even the soaps are made with craft beer! The best part of the hotel, perhaps, is the rainfall showers with a shower fridge - meaning a cold beer in within arm's reach DURING your shower!

BrewDog is on a roll. First, the Scottish brewery starting offering a "paw-ternity" paid leave for employees who are new to puppy parenthood. Now, the company has its sights set on the hospitality business. Its latest project is a totally boozy hotel called DogHouse.
The new venture will be completely crowd-funded and focused on craft beer, Grub Street reports. And, if everything works out, the DogHouse will be the first hotel of its kind.
So far, the brand has already raised more than $50,000 in just 24 hours to make this concept happen. The hotel will be situated alongside its newest brewery in Columbus, Ohio.
Not only will there be beer taps in every room, but also fridges built into the shower for those beloved shower beers, and restaurant meals both prepared and paired with brews. But if you need some more ale to make your day, the spa will offer hop-oil pedicures, malted-barley massages and hops-infused face masks.
The DogHouse's Indiegogo page is already swamped with donations - the running total as of this publication was $64,424 and climbing - with backers receiving perks like private tours and tastings. If you pitch in $150, you'll receive a free one-night stay for two (worth over $250). The brand notes that the designs for the hotel should be finalized by June of this year, and it plans to open the hotel's doors by late 2018. We'll be (im)patiently waiting until then.
