Bobby Berk Says This Surprising ’70s Trend Is Primed for a Comeback

Some home design trends, like shag carpeting and avocado bathrooms, should stay in the past. But there’s one decor blast from the past that Bobby Berk thinks should make its way back onto your Pinterest board.

The Queer Eye star recently sat down with Airbnb Plus to talk home trends and predicted that wood paneling will make a major home decor comeback. 

When asked if wood paneling could ever work again, Berk uttered an emphatic, “Yes.”

Given his proclivity for wood paneling, it’s no surprise he also says the ’70s are his favorite decade to pull design inspiration from.  

As for trends he can’t get behind, Berk says he’s most definitely not a fan of mauve and thinks it’s one color trend we’ll all look at and regret.

Now to decide if we can get behind the resurgence of wood paneling…
