Blue Apron Teamed Up with Weight Watchers & Maybe We’ll Be Able to Keep Those Resolutions After All
Resolving to cook a little more, eat a little healthier and try something new come 2019? Us too (always). Luckily, two food and wellness giants recently teamed up to make achieving those goals a whole lot easier.
Meal-kit delivery service Blue Apron is joining forces with WW (formerly Weight Watchers) to serve up healthy meals inspired by the WW Freestyle program. Beginning December 26, you’ll be able to order from a weekly rotating selection of recipes created in collaboration with the WW nutrition and wellness experts. We’re talking meals like chipotle sweet potato chili and blackened pork chops with a spicy orange salsa (yum).
According to Brad Dickerson, CEO of Blue Apron, "our new WW Freestyle menu is designed to bring discovery and achievement to the home cooking experience, introducing consumers to ingredients, techniques, and delicious meals that empower them to develop a wellness-inspired home cooking routine." Amen, Brad, amen.
To help you achieve your health and wellness goals, all recipes will be trackable on the WW mobile app and will be available for purchase exclusively on Blue Apron’s website.
A healthy, home-cooked meal without even having to put on pants? Happy 2019 to us.
