Birria tacos, burritos and more: Mexican restaurant opens in Jacksonville Beach
JACKSONVILLE BEACH | Birria tacos and burritos plus fajitas, enchiladas, quesadillas and other freshly made fare including in-house-made salsa top the menu of a newly opened Mexican restaurant beckoning guests from the Beaches and beyond.
1810 Tacos Y Tequila debuted at 950 Marsh Landing Parkway Suite 370 in Marsh Landing Plaza shopping center.
The restaurant describes itself as "a locally owned establishment that was created with the intent of providing great Mexican food and delicious drinks, but most of all a place where customers can call this place a home away from home."
The 6,000-square-foot restaurant with an outdoor patio is in the storefront previously used by Whiskey Jax, which moved to Atlantic Beach and ultimately closed.
The restaurant's name references the Mexican War of Independence which began on Sept. 16, 1810.
