Billy Baldwin Furniture and a Weekend at Michelle Nussbaumer's Mexico Home Up for Auction to Support Kips Bay
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, most of us weren't able to travel to one of the highly anticipated design events of the year: the inaugural Kips Bay Decorator Show House in Dallas. This also means that funds raised from ticket prices, events, and other incentives for the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club haven't been as high at this year's event in Dallas as they have been is years passed. So, we're making it a whole lot easier—and fun—to help support one of our favorite charities by hosting an exclusive auction in partnership with Kips Bay.
Launching today, Design Unites X Kips Bay is a virtual auction on the Charitybuzz platform that runs through October 27 and features an impressive collection of items on which to bid. From exclusive items from Billy Baldwin Studio to a weekend in San Miguel Allende with Ceylon et Cie's Michelle Nussbaumer and VERANDA's Editor-in-Chief Steele Marcoux, there's no shortage of exciting bidding choices that all go toward a good cause.
Bidders can start the fun and games at 9 a.m. EST Monday and will know they are the winning bidder within 24 hours of auction closing. Charitybuzz will reach out to the highest bidder for each item to confirm and close the deal.
Other exciting items available for bidding include a set of Kravet pillows, signed books from designer Jan Showers, art lessons with Liliana Bloch at her eponymous gallery, a color expert consultation and up to 25 gallons of Regal Select Paint from Benjamin Moore, state-of-the-art products from Kohler, and a bespoke lightbox by artist Carmen Menza that was featured in designer Sherry Hayslip's room at the Dallas Show House.
