Beyoncé Brings Cowboy Core to the 2024 Grammys in Louis Vuitton
Beyoncé brought rodeo flair to the 2024 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday. The singer wore a custom Louis Vuitton jacket with the brand’s signature Damier check rendered in crystals and a matching skirt. The look is from Louis Vuitton’s fall 2024 ready-to-wear collection created by Pharrell Williams.
Louis Vuitton’s fall 2024 collection was inspired by the original cowboys of the American West. “Williams set about exploring the seemingly endless capabilities of the Vuitton ateliers with Western-inflected pieces that were showcases for high-end craftsmanship,” WWD previously reported.

Beyoncé added to her cowboy core-inspired outfit with a white cowboy hat by Stetson reminiscent of her “Renaissance” era — the singer posed with a disco ball cowboy hat to promote the “Renaissance” tour in February 2023. She also wore diamond earrings and rings from Cartier.
Cowboy core has always been part of American fashion, but the trend has seen a resurgence in the past couple of years thanks to brands such as Diesel, Balmain and Calvin Klein.
Beyoncé attended the ceremony to support her husband, Jay Z, who received the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award in a Givenchy suit during the event. The couple was also accompanied by their eldest daughter, Blue Ivy, who wore a white Vivienne Westwood dress with matching boots.
The 2024 Grammys, held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Feb. 4, celebrates the biggest artists, albums and songs of the year. Hosted by comedian Trevor Noah, the 66th annual ceremony features performances from Billie Eilish, SZA, Dua Lipa and Olivia Rodrigo, among others. The Recording Academy will also present Lifetime Achievement Awards to Donna Summer, N.W.A., Tammy Wynette and Gladys Knight.
