Betty White Said Ryan Reynolds Still Has a Crush On Her
I want to be Betty White when I grow up. For starters, the legendary actor turns 100 years young on Jan. 17 and she hasn't aged a bit. Now, she's revealing that Ryan Reynolds has always had a "thing for her." I want what she has.
In this week's issue People, Ryan Reynolds shared that he has been a fan of Betty's "for as long as I can remember." Of course, the two shared the screen in the 2009 hit The Proposal, in which White played Reynold's on-screen grandmother. Over the years, Ryan has joked that the actress was his "ex-girlfriend." Now, Betty is finally addressing Ryan's crush — but she has eyes for someone else.

"I've heard Ryan can't get over his thing for me," she told People. "But Robert Redford is The One."
Reynolds also shared how much he admires White and her brand of comedy, especially on the iconic show Golden Girls. "I heard that scripts were only 35 pages, which makes sense because so many of the laughs come from Betty simply looking at her cast mates," he said before jokingly adding that White is "a typical Capricorn. Sleeps all day. Out all night boozing and snacking on men."

In all seriousness, Betty is feeling pretty grateful leading up to her big centennial birthday. "I'm so lucky to be in such good health and feel so good at this age," she said, adding that being a "cockeyed optimist" is her secret. "I got it from my mom, and that never changed. I always find the positive."
Happy birthday to the queen of comedy!
