All The Best Movies About The 'Son Of Sam' Killer Featured On 'Mindhunter' Season 2

If you’re a Mindhunter enthusiast, you’ve gotten acquainted with a number of real and prolific serial killers like Ed Kemper, Dennis Rader, and Jerry Brudos. As the second season hits Netflix, you’ll be introduced to a few new (er, old) faces. Chances are you’ve heard horror stories about these guys before, especially one in particular: Son of Sam.

Just in case you're not super familiar with the real-life serial killer, quick true-crime history lesson: Son of Sam's real name was David Berkowitz, and he terrorized New York City from 1976 to 1977, shooting and killing six people, and wounding seven. He called himself the "Son of Sam" in a letter to police and said he was told by his neighbor’s demonic dog to carry out the killings. His victims were seemingly random, although most were shot in their cars and many were brunette women.
