Berks churches schedule outdoor concerts [Religion Digest]
? North Heidelberg United Church of Christ, 211 Sheidy Road, North Heidelberg Township, will sponsor a free outdoor concert by Crow Hill on Sunday at 6 p.m. Bring lawn chairs. In case of rain, the concert will be held indoors. Hot dogs and ice cream will be available for purchase.
? There will be a Ringgold Band concert next Saturday at the St. John Hill Church picnic grove, 620 Hill Church Road, Pike Township. Food will be available at 3:30 p.m., with sit-down service from 3:30-7:30. Music is from 5-8. There will be ice cream, french fries, hotdogs, hamburgers and soup. Door prizes will be awarded during the concert. Rain or shine.
? St. Peter’s United Church of Christ of Molltown, 219 Maidencreek Road, Richmond Township, will hold an event featuring food and music next Saturday. Food is available from 4-8 p.m. and includes fresh cut fries, homemade pastries and ice cream. Music by Linda and Mike Hertzog, with apprentice Jakob Wiswesser, at 5 p.m. and by Days of Old at 7 p.m.
? Christ Lutheran Church, 222 Niantic Road, Douglass Township, Montgomery County, will have Coffee and Conversation at 8:30 and 10 a.m. Sunday in the Welcome Center.
? Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, 170 Tuckerton Road, Muhlenberg Township, will worship Sunday at 10:30 a.m. with special music by vocalist Chuck Goffer Jr.
? The Rev. Kenneth Gould will lead will be the guest pastor for the 9:30 a.m. worship service on Sunday at Salem Lutheran Church, 8410 Lancaster Ave., Bethel Township. A social hour follows the service.
