Bebe Rexha Celebrates Momentous Career Achievement With New Billboard Record
The singer-songwriter has broken another charting record!
Bebe Rexha is absolutely dominating in her career, and we're thrilled to see her shouting so for all the world to see!
The "I Can't Stop Drinking About You" songstress certainly isn't feeling blue as she adds another Billboard record to her resume, making her the longest-charting female artist on not one, but two lists.
The 33-year-old singer-songwriter, who was already the longest-charting female artist on the Billboard Hot Country charts thanks to her Florida Georgia Line collab "Meant to Be," is now the longest-charting female artist on the Billboard Dance/Electronic charts—specifically at #1!—with "I'm Good (Blue)," on which she features with David Guetta, and which has spent 27 of its 30 weeks on the charts in the top slot.
She took to Instagram to gush over the news, writing, "Wowwwww. I’m shook!!!! ??," alongside a graphic reiterating the achievements. "Longest charting female artist on Billboard Hot Country. Longest charting female artist on Billboard Dance/Electronic spent at #1."
"Meant to Be" spent 50 consecutive weeks on the charts in 2018, knocking Sam Hunt's "Body Like a Back Road," which spent 34, out of the longest-charting slot.
Meanwhile, "I'm Good (Blue)" has not beaten the number one spot overall, which is a whopping 69 weeks at #1 for "Happier" by Marshmello and Bastille.
Friends and fans were overjoyed for the musician, flooding her comments with congratulations.
"So proud of u sis !!!!! ??," G-Eazy wrote.
"pretty legendary if you ask me," pop culture writer Bradley Stern added.
"which genre you gonna dominate next????" another person wanted to know.
"your versatility is UNMATCHED ?? no one else can say they are historically at the top of country and EDM at the same time. YOU GO GIRL," another comment complimented.
"Also shook but not surprised. You are just that amazing! Congrats! Honestly this speaks so much louder than a Grammy. Girl, you are BREAKING RECORDS which means the world loves you, not just a few music executives. What you have is truly special and rare, and I hope you know that. That's my Bebe! ??," the praise continued.
We love a cross-genre queen!
