Barbiemania hits Westchester with cake pops, lattes, margaritas

Barbie has always been an attention grabber — after all, how many women can say they've had careers as fashion models, nurses, flight attendants, ballerinas, dentists, Army medics, astronaunts and paleontologists — all while wearing high heels, maintaining a perfectly-styled dream house, and sporting expertly coiffed hair?

But now, the blonde bombshell, whose first live action movie comes out July 21, can be found celebrated throughout Westchester with all kinds of treats in honor of her big debut, everything from margaritas to cake pops to lattes and cookies.

If you're one of those who's hopped on the Barbiemania train (and has found themselves suddenly raiding their closet to find something pink), the following nine spots are for you.

Cake Pops, Patty Pops, Pelham

Sure you can find other pink cake pops throughout the county but the ones churned out by Patty Lambrou-Kalagnomas, the owner of Patty Pops, are the official ones served at the Malibu Barbie Cafe at South Street Seaport which has been decked out to resemble 1970s Malibu (the pop-up is in New York until Sept. 15). The ones at Patty Pops are chocolate cake with melted white chocolate (colored pink!) with sprinkles and sparkles though Lambrou-Kalagnomas is always mixing up flavors and designs. Pink Margarita, Jack's Bar & Restaurant, Eastchester

Join the Barbiemania with a pink margarita featuring fresh housemade raspberry syrup (to get the right Barbie color!), topped with cotton candy (from Bronxville's Candy Rox). Barbie Bonbon latte, Araras Coffee & More, White Plains

Pink condensed milk, espresso, ice, whipped cream, more milk and sprinkles form the Barbie Bonbon latte at this woman-owned Brazilian coffee shop where you'll also find Brigadeiro bites, Brigadeiro Barbie and glitter alfajores. Owners Celina Bredemann and Liz Marina Cardozo have gotten lots of inspiration from the movie and are having fun creating new products. 408 Mamaroneck Ave., 914-831-5439, ararascoffee.com

The Barbie Playhouse, The Bedford Playhouse, Bedford

Naturally a movie theater showing "Barbie," would go all out with a cocktail created just for her (and other pink ladies!). Made with vodka, lemonade and a splash of grenadine, you can also get it in a non-alcholic version. The drink is available at Bambi's Bar starting July 20 and will be available through the run of the film. Bring a friend for "Friendsday Wednesday" on July 26 and enjoy one — or two! Barbie Personal Cake, Ice Cream Social, White Plains

Barbie could eat this and never gain an ounce. The rest of us mere mortals? That's another story. But — emphasis on but — it's summertime so what's wrong with treating ourselves to something sweet? The Snackery, known for its retro snacks, is going all out for Barbie Friday and Saturday with lots of pink items including cakes, cookies (think the traditional black and white with two shades of pink!), cupcakes and more. Pink Cookie Monster Ice Cream, Longford's Ice Cream, Rye

Cake Jars and Pink Sugar Cookie Ice Cream Sammie, Blondery, Peekskill

The world seems to have officially turned hot pink and it's no different at this Peekskill bakery where you'll find Barbie-inspired cake jars featuring lemon cake, a strawberry blondie, lemon cream and sparkly pink sugar cookie crumble.
