'Back to the Future' Staple Christopher Lloyd Joins 'The Mandalorian' Season Three
Back to the Future star Christopher Lloyd is set to appear in season three of Disney+ and Lucasfilm's The Mandalorian.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 83-year-old actor is on the call sheet for the show's upcoming season, and will be appearing in the capacity of a guest star. Any further information regarding his character was not revealed, however, and Lucasfilm did not share a statement.
The Mandalorian is currently in the midst of filming and does not have a release date as of writing. Earlier this year, rumors suggested that the series could be returning around Christmas 2022. Season two ran from October 2020 to December 2020, and went on to receive four Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series (Giancarlo Esposito), Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series and Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series.
