Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay Marries Bryan Abasolo in Mexico Wedding
After the final rose comes marriage. Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay and her final rose recipient, Bryan Abasolo, are officially married. The couple wed in Mexico on Saturday, August 24, before a close group of family members and friends, according to People.
The oceanfront wedding was held at the Royalton Suites Cancún. The bride wore a gown by designer Randi Rahm, while Abasolo and his groomsmen wore Musika suits. The entire wedding itself was orchestrated by celeb event planner Mikie Russo of Michael Russo Events.
One of their wedding registry gifts will help the pair with their honeymoon. Prior to marriage, Lindsay and Abasolo followed their planning checklist by setting up experiences (including a honeymoon fund) and a charity component to their very own personalized version of The Knot Registry.
The former series lead told The Knot that she was so excited about getting married that she added personalized towels and other pieces to her registry to nod to her new name. “I’m just excited about being Mrs. Abasolo. I’m probably going to be that obnoxious person that’s wearing this stuff all the time,” she said. “When people walk into our apartment, I want them to know we’re ‘Mr.’ and ‘Mrs.’ I have the towels, I’ve got the doormat, I even have the monogram for copper, the matching robe. I’m going to be so extra.”
Viewers and fans have long awaited this moment. Lindsay and Abasolo got engaged on the Season 13 finale of The Bachelorette. He was (surprise!) the recipient of her first impression rose.
“Rachel was the epitome of elegance and grace as she walked down the aisle towards Bryan,” Russo told People Saturday night. “The ceremony was filled with so much joy, love and laughter. As they exchanged their personal handwritten vows, you could feel the unbridled emotion and powerful connection between them.”
