B&B Spoilers: Hope Stands Up to Steffy…And the War is On

On the March 20 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, spoilers tease that Steffy and Hope’s era of relative peace ends with a confrontation about Thomas. Hope fights back against Steffy’s harsh words. Carter tries to tell Liam that Thomas has changed for the better. This is sure to be a dramatic day.

Hope Faces Steffy

Hope (Annika Noelle) truly appeared to feel awful about turning down Thomas’s (Matthew Atkinson) proposal. She sobbed heavily as she realized how much she had hurt him. However, the bottom line remains: Hope is not ready to marry so soon after her divorce from Liam (Scott Clifton).

Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) has a different take on the scenario. She doesn’t believe that Hope loves her brother at all. Not one to let others just lead their lives, Steffy told Thomas it’s time to let go of Hope. Then, she faces Hope and tells her exactly what she thinks of her and how she is treating Thomas.

Hope may often back down when Steffy gets hostile, but not this time. Hope is really trying to be her own woman since her divorce. She isn’t letting anyone control her decisions. Hence, she strikes back at Steffy. Her relationship with Thomas is none of Steffy’s business. Hope feels that she has been completely transparent with Thomas and promised him nothing. Furthermore, she loves him and has no intent to harm him.

Steffy sure isn’t going to be fazed by a show of strength from Hope. Expect her to stop at nothing to protect Thomas and shove Hope out the door.

Thomas Transformed?

Adding fuel to the fire of Steffy’s rage is Hope’s ex, Liam. He doesn’t believe Hope and Thomas are good together, either. Though he doesn’t say it to Steffy, he also doesn’t believe that Thomas has transformed himself into a stable person. Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) attempts to convince Liam that Thomas really is a changed man. Perhaps Carter has witnessed a kinder, gentler Thomas around the office. Perhaps he doesn’t want Liam to worry so much about Hope continuing a relationship with him.

Carter’s words will probably fall on Liam’s deaf ears. He can never forgive and forget the awful things Thomas did to him and Hope. Liam will probably be very relieved Hope rejected Thomas’s proposal. He would be much happier if that sociopath were nowhere near his family. Others may welcome Thomas, but Liam will always have his guard up.
