Ashley I. and Jared Haibon Are Finally Dating
PRAISE THE BACHELOR IN PARADISE GODS (read: Chris Harrison) because three years after watching Ashley Iaconetti's heart get politely but firmly broken by Jared Haibon on BiP the pair are finally dating. And honestly, nothing but respect for MY king and queen of paradise!
Jared and Ashley went ahead and filmed their own mini documentary about their love story (um, yes please!), aptly called The Story of Us, which you should 100 percent devote the rest of your morning to watching.
In the sure to be Oscar-nominated short, Jared admits that while he wasn't in love with Ashley during BiP, he "never felt like it was over between us after Paradise." They formed a close friendship, which become something bigger during a trip to Virginia, known as the Paris of the American south (IDK if that is true, but go with it.)
"I was in love," Jared says. "That was such a different experience being with someone in the show and in real life. You were just so down to earth and easy-going, ambitious… sexy. I wanted you that night."

Cut to a make out session in Boston (the Paris of the East Coast, if you will!), a stressful time of confusion, and a few more reality show stints, Ashley and Jared went on vacation with Jade and Tanner Tolbert and he declared his feels. The problem? Ashley was still dating Kevin Wendt from Bachelor Winter Games. But after their breakup, Jared wrote Ash a love letter and the rest is history.
"I was scream-crying basically alone in my apartment reading that just sobbing and sobbing," says Ashley. "He’s written me other letters and filled my apartment with flowers. He tells me every day that he’s the luckiest man alive."
If Chris Harrison doesn't personally arrange an on-screen wedding for these two I will single-handedly start a change.org petition in their honor.
