Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham Are Officially Married!
Talk about Bachelor in Paradise! Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham officially said “I do” in a dreamy destination wedding at the Insta-worthy Haiku Mill in Maui, Hawaii on Saturday, January 12.
Deciding to not let TV cameras document their big day, the season 22 alums exchanged vows in front of about 120 guests, which included family and friends, like Catherine Giudici Lowe and several familiar faces from The Bachelor. That’s right: Marikh and Seinne attended as guests, Maquel was a bridesmaid, and none other than Chris Harrison officiated the outdoor ceremony, which saw the beaming couple exchanging vows underneath lush greenery with a stunning waterfall in the background.
While the groom wore a Kenneth Cole tux, the bride sparkled in a Hayley Paige gown with petal-like embroidery on the bodice, a full tulle skirt, and a daring plunging neckline, which figure skater Kimberly Bogle documented on her Instagram, gushing, “Congrats to the happiest couple on their marriage tonight! Lovely time celebrating at @haikumill on Maui after a great week on the island. #Janularie”
Meanwhile, Catherine Giudici Lowe gave fans a glimpse of the dinner and afterparty, which saw guests surrounded by nature once more, sitting on golden chairs at tables set with vintage-inspired crystal tableware. “CHEERS TO LOVE,” she captioned her snaps. “Congratulations to Lauren and Arie (and Baby Girl Luyendyk) on making it official tonight! So honored to have witnessed it and to have celebrated you. Also, have you seen this stunning of a bride before?!?”
Speaking about the big day, the 37-year-old groom and former race car driver told Us Weekly that he couldn’t have been more excited. “Ever since we’ve gotten together, we wanted to fast-forward to this day,” he said, adding, “It’s been a year. That’s kind of crazy ‘cause I remember a year ago we were doing ‘happy couples [weekend on The Bachelor]’ and talking about getting married and wanting to do that, even last year, so it’s awesome that the day is finally here.” Congrats to Arie and Lauren!
