Ariana Grande Announces New Single 'Yes, and?' After 3-Year Solo Track Hiatus

Ariana Grande fans, get ready—the pop star is finally releasing a new single after a three-year solo track hiatus.

On Sunday, Jan. 7, the "Thank U, Next" songstress took to Instagram to announce the big news. The message was short and sweet, but fans definitely got it. "yes, and? ? 1.12," she captioned a blurry, close-up photo of herself.

No other information was shared at the time. However, Grande's Instagram followers were clearly pumped about the new music.

One person commented, "MOTHER IS BACK," while another declared, "WE MISSED YOU."

Someone else wrote, "screaming WELCOME BACK MOTHER ??."

Meanwhile, another Instagram user commented, "You knew we needed 2024 to be filled with magic ???? can’t wait!"

Lately, Grande has been busy filming for the live-action Wicked musical. Wicked: Part One is set to release on Nov. 27, 2024, while Part Two is scheduled for Nov. 26, 2025. She has also been focusing on her R.E.M. Beauty makeup business.

Although she hasn't dropped a single in a hot minute—her sixth studio album Positions came out in 2020—the songstress has been featured alongside other artists in recent years. Grande and Kid Cudi collaborated for the 2021 song "Just Look Up" fora the film Don't Look Up. She also sang on The Weeknd's 2021 remix of "Save Your Tears" and 2023 remix of "Die For You."

Additionally, in 2021, Grande teamed up with Jimmy Fallon and Megan Thee Stallion for "It Was a... (Masked Christmas)" and with Kelly Clarkson for "Santa, Can't You Hear Me."
