Arby’s returns this discontinued item to menu
DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A discontinued menu item has returned to Arby’s.
On Monday, Arby’s debuted the return of Potato Cakes to the restaurant menu. According to the online menu, the side item will be served in two, three and four pieces.
“The glorious and mighty Potato Cake has returned,” Arby’s said. “Rejoice and celebrate with The Order of Potato Cakes before they ascend and vanish.”
On the company’s social media, the brand posted cryptic messages teasing the return of the popular item. Most people providing feedback were in favor of the return.
“They should’ve never been taken off the menu,” said one commenter.
Other commenters detailed they were glad the menu item returned but wanted options like the ribeye sandwich, chicken cordon bleu and more brought back.
Arby’s discontinued its Potato Cakes in 2021 after adding Crinkle Fries to the permanent menu alongside its Curly Fries.
Potato Cakes are back for a limited time and are only available at participating locations.
