We’ve Got Details on the Royal Wedding Bands…and of Course the Queen Had a Say in Them
It's a ring fit for a princess duchess: This morning, the palace revealed that, after Prince Harry and Meghan exchange vows at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle, they'll also exchange wedding bands made by Cleave and Company, a British brand.
Of course, Meghan has been wearing her sparkly engagement ring—featuring a center stone from Botswana and surrounding diamonds from Princess Diana's private collection—since late last year. Now, per the palace, she'll add a simple (and no doubt elegant) wedding band fashioned from a rare piece of Welsh gold, gifted to her by the Queen.
As for Harry? His ring will be a platinum band with a textured finish.
So chic and cool. (We'd expect nothing less from this royal pair.)
