Here's What Pam Really Said to Michael During Their Emotional Goodbye on ‘The Office’

Remember that emotional goodbye between Pam Beasley (Jenna Fischer) and Michael Scott (Steve Carell) on The Office? Well, Fischer finally revealed what she said during their muffled conversation and, damn, is someone cutting onions?

Here’s what you need to know: In season seven, episode 22 of The Office, titled “Goodbye Michael Scott,” Pam misses the opportunity to bid farewell to her former boss and rushes to the airport to give him a proper—albeit inaudible—goodbye.

Well, Fischer recently dished on the scene during an Instagram live video and revealed they were crying real tears. She said, “That was me talking to Steve. I told him all the ways I was going to miss him when he left our show. Those were real tears and a real goodbye. That was a really emotional scene.” Just let that sink in.
