Anya Taylor-Joy Wears Yellow Bandeau and Skirt With Partner Malcolm McRae for Their Golden Globes Debut
The Menu's Anya Taylor-Joy is up for one of the Golden Globes' top honors, Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy, and dressed like the leading lady she is on the red carpet.
Taylor-Joy posed with her partner Malcolm McRae for the occasion, decked out in yellow crop top and skirt by Dior. Her hair was styled down and straight. She opted for a more natural beauty look, wearing a nude lip and smokey eye. This is her and McRae's first award show appearance together. They held hands in front of photographers.
Taylor-Joy expressed her excitement and gratitude for the nomination, writing on her Instagram after it was announced last month, “My goodness?????? Thank you so much @goldenglobes for showing love to our weird, wonderful creature of a movie… all my love to our unbelievable cast and crew and a huge congratulations to the man himself, Mr Ralph Fiennes. It is an honour and a privilege to share a stage and life with you :) EEEK!”
The actress kept a relatively low profile leading up to the ceremony, though she did share a glimpse of her holiday on Instagram. She last posted photos of her and her partner McRae together at Christmas, and her with friends celebrating New Year's Eve in the snow.
Before that, Taylor-Joy announced she wrapped filming on Mad Max prequel Furiosa at the end of October. “What. A . Rideeeee,” she wrote. “Thank you to those of the wasteland—the crazies who have run amok with me up and down this country. The most fun, the most resilient, the most talented. It has been an honour and a privilege to create with you all… thank you for making me tougher than I ever thought I could be. Fire, blood and guzzoline, Furianya ??”
