Anne Heche's Look-alike Son Attends Red Carpet With Dad James Tupper
The late Anne Heche's 14-year-old son, Atlas Tupper, made a rare public appearance with his father, James Tupper, at an event on June 2.
The father-son duo attended the Race To Erase MS 30th Anniversary Gala in Los Angeles, California, posing on the red carpet–which was turned orange as it's the official color for multiple sclerosis awareness.
Atlas, who looks so much like his mother, matched Tupper in a chic black suit with a white button-up shirt.
While attending the gala, Tupper touched on the family's life after Heche's death.
The 57-year-old spoke to People, saying, "We're taking care of each other and taking it one day at a time. We've got a lot of great support and family around us, and it doesn't help.”
Tupper added, "We still miss her, we miss her every day, love her.”
In August, it will be a year since Heche died. The actress passed away last summer after crashing her car. She was in a coma for a week after the initial accident before succumbing to her injuries.
Tupper, also an actor, was with Heche from 2007 to 2018. The two welcomed Atlas in early 2009.
Heche is also survived by another son, Homer Laffoon, 21, whom she had with ex-husband Coleman "Coley" Laffoon. The two were married from 2001 to 2009, although they separated before their divorce.
Along with her surviving family, Heche is remembered for her talent on screen as well. The late actress had a very notable career, with a few of her most memorable projects including Donnie Brasco, Six Days Seven Nights, Men in Trees, Hung, and The Brave.
