Animal Shelter Introduces Adoptable Dogs to Show There's a Rescue Pet for Anyone
It's no secret that dogs come in all shapes and sizes, but not everyone considers that the same may be true for shelter dogs. True, time in the shelter can put a damper on a pup's personality, but with enough time and love they'll be ready to show their true selves.
The @humanesocietypikespeak in Colorado Springs knows exactly what we mean! In an August 10 TikTok video, the animal shelter showed off some of their adoptable canines, proving that there really is a dog for everyone at the shelter.

Aww! These fur babies are so darn cute that I wish I could adopt them all. I'm sure tons of other viewers feel that way, too! In fact, several commenters are sharing their own dog adoption stories in hopes of inspiring others to visit their local shelters.
"I adopted my shelter girl 2 years ago and she’s the best decision I ever made!" shared @captainopossum. "Don’t tell my husband." LMAO! Your secret is safe with me. I understand how life-changing adopting a dog can be, especially since I've experienced that kind of magic first-hand. My rescue cockapoo is my family's whole world!
Yep, you read that correctly. We were lucky enough to find the sweetest young cockapoo at our local shelter 12 years ago. We all had to adjust to our new lives together, but he's the perfect addition to our family. He's loving, loyal, and oh-so-adorable!
Each and every one of these shelter pups would be an amazing match for the right owner, so it's just a matter of helping their new families find them. This video from the Humane Society of Pike's Peak is a great example of the kinds of dogs you'll find in shelters, too, because there's a fur baby for everyone. You'll find Corgi breeds, Pit Bulls, and even puppies in the animal shelter, so don't hesitate going for a browse!
