Angelina Jolie on What Quarantining With Her 6 Kids Is Like Now: Movie Nights, Schedules, and Some 'Chaos'
Angelina Jolie is currently on a mini press tour to promote her new Disney+ film The One and Only Ivan, out on August 21. And she has spoken a little to multiple outlets about what her life quarantining with her six children, Maddox, 19; Pax, 16; Zahara, 15; Shiloh, 14; and 12-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
She quipped to E!, "You know, I've never been one who valued relaxation. I like chaos." She added that her kids have made cameos while she's been in virtual work meetings. "I've been on high level meetings where there's dogs and balls and kids and things," she said. "You kind of just enjoy being human with everybody else and laughing through it."
She added that she tries to make schedules to add "a bit of structure" to everyone's day. "My daughter Zahara is better at organizing things than I am," she told E!.
The family unwinds with regular movie nights. "Lots of popcorn and just like really every family, we're just pajamas, robes, snacks," she said.
Jolie added that Maddox, who is currently in college at South Korea's Yonsei University, is home due to the coronavirus pandemic. He is doing classes virtually, she told Extra: "He had to stay back from Korea. He's going online, and so I think he starts at 6 PM at night."
Overall, everyone is together but looking out for each other. "It's a nice big bunch, so everybody's helping each other out," Jolie said. "We're lucky."
