Amber Riley Paid Tribute to Naya Rivera With a Touching Performance
“I didn’t make it 15 seconds before I was a puddle."
Amber Riley delivered a touching tribute to her late friend and Glee co-star Naya Rivera on Thursday evening. The singer, whose self-titled EP drops Oct. 2, performed one of her new songs, “A Moment,” on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, backed by photos and memories from Rivera’s life.
"I didn’t make it 15 seconds before I was a puddle," Riley later tweeted. "I love you Naya. RIP Angel."

Rivera died in a tragic accident last month while visiting Lake Piru with her 4-year-old son Josey.
Riley has shared several tributes to her "favorite duet partner" since her friend’s passing, including reposting a video of Rivera singing with her son.
“I love you. I miss you. I don’t have words right now, just lots of feelings,” Riley wrote.

Later in July, Riley shared an Instagram gallery of stills from her Glee duets with Rivera. "I’m so mad the world will never see how high you could have soared," she wrote in the caption. "Her brain was brilliant. She was smart and as quick as a whip. Always had me in stitches, we would be in tears laughing so hard at one another."
"I’ve cried until my tear ducts have dried out, now it’s time to celebrate the fact that us mere humans got to experience walking through life with an earth angel. Rest well. I pray you found the peace we all are searching for."
