Who's ready for new Britney Spears music?
After speculation that the princess of pop was gearing up to release a new song with Will.i.am earlier this month—she announced her memoir instead—the Black Eyed Peas frontman finally confirmed the highly-anticipated collaboration.
The producer shocked fans with a teaser announcement shared on social media.
"UH OH!!!" the caption of the 16-second clip begins, along with the duo’s “Scream and Shout” tagline, “You are now NOW rocking with https://will.i.am and @britneyspears.”
The post also included a series of fire emojis leading up to the reveal of the song title, “#MINDyourbusiness.”

The same words appear as a visual throughout the clip, flashing across the screen in black and white text, before launching into a new dancey beat that seems to be a snippet of the upcoming track.
"Mind your business, bitch,” Spears can be heard saying as the video concludes.
And the good news is that we don’t have to wait too long for it to drop as the release date is announced with text across the screen that reads, “"will.i.am x BRITNEY TOMORROW,” indicating a July 19 premiere.
Will.i.am also shared the same video on Instagram—which Spears reshared on her Instagram Story—teasing in the caption, “"Uh oh!!! This summer is about to be hot!!!"
The excitement was palpable as Paris Hilton commented, “#Sliving Icons ????” while Spears’ husband, Sam Asghari, added three shocked emojis.
“BREAK THE INTERNET” someone in the Britney Army wrote, as another emphasized, “IM HYPERVENTILATING.”
Elsewhere, a fan noted, “omg scream & shout pt. 2 incoming to save the summer ?? ?????” as another took notice of how calmly they just dropped this massive news on fans, “*casually announces the comeback of the decade*”
The collaboration marks Spears’ second song post-conservatorship, as she previously joined forces with Elton John on 2022's "Hold Me Closer," an upbeat dance production mashing up his singles “Tiny Dancer” and “The One.”
It’s also her third collaboration with will.i.am following 2013’s “Scream & Shout” and 2011’s “Big Fat Bass” from her Femme Fatale album.
“Scream and Shout,” which is where the tagline in the video comes from, was a smashing success for the duo, marking Spears' first entry into the prestigious Billion Views Club, per Billboard.
It also climbed to No. 3 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, while topping both the Digital Song Sales and Hot Dance/Electronic Songs charts.
You can pre-save and pre-add the single now.
