Aldi Has High-Protein, Low-Cal Ice Cream That's Similar To Halo Top, But Cheaper
People love their low-cal, high-protein ice cream these days. There are tons of different brands and flavors to choose from at this point, which allows you to be more choosy about price, calories, and protein values. Aldi recently joined the low-cal ice cream game, with its Aldi-brand Sundae Shoppe pints.
The pints come in three flavors: Chocolate, Vanilla Bean, and Mint Chip, and are JUST $3! The Aldi pints are about half the price of Halo Top, depending on where you buy it, according to Insider.
Each flavor has between 20 and 24 grams of protein, and less than 300 calories. Soooo, I can finish the whole pint?
People on Instagram have been pleased with the ice cream. One user says gave the Mint Chip an 8.5/10.
So, on your next trip to Aldi, bring 13 quarters - one for your cart, and 12 for a pint of ice cream!
