Al Pacino’s Former Beverly Hills Rental Home Is Up for Grabs at $16 Million
Earlier this year, the longtime Beverly Hills home of the late Jackie Collins hit the market for a whopping $66 million. A neighboring property the British romance novelist also owned and famously leased to Al Pacino simultaneously became available with Bobby Syed of Coldwell Banker Realty for a much more affordable $16 million.
Both places are currently owned by real estate investor Ben Nehmadi and his wife Bita, who purchased Collins’ primary residence and the Pacino-occupied house next door about a year after Collins’s 2015 death for $21 million and $9 million, respectively. The Triple Crown of Acting winner occupied the latter place for nearly 20 years, from 2006 until late 2024, calling the Hollywood Wives writer “the greatest landlord anyone could have.”

Built in the early 1920s and since remodeled, most notably in 1938 by esteemed architect Douglas Honnold, the traditional six-bedroom, six-bath abode is securely tucked away behind a pedestrian entrance and a gated circular driveway, on almost three-quarters of an acre in the sought-after Flats neighborhood. Inside, roughly 5,300 square feet of two-level living space is easily showcased by a sprawling wood-paneled great room containing a fireside family room and an adjacent entertaining area with a seated bar.
Other highlights include a formal living area anchored by a fireplace, as well as a chandelier-topped dining room flaunting a curving picture window and pale blue walls complemented by white wainscoting. The white color palette continues in the kitchen, which boasts stained-glass windows, ceramic tile countertops, Wolf appliances, a separate prep area, and a breakfast nook.

Elsewhere is an office sporting a fireplace and built-in shelving, along with an upstairs primary suite holding a walk-in closet and a decidedly dated bath with a glass and brass-accented shower. Outdoors, the private and grassy grounds host an alfresco lounging and dining terrace enhanced with a built-in barbecue and fireplace, a pool and spa, and a full-size tennis court, plus a porte-cochère leading to a detached two-car garage.
As for Pacino, who appeared last year in the Johnny Depp-directed film Modì, Three Days on the Wing of Madness, he is far from homeless. The 84-year-old New York native’s primary home remains a waterfront estate in the Palisades enclave of New York that he’s owned since the 1970s.
