The Air Jordan 13 Could Appear in a New Colorway Next Year
Michael Jordan’s 13 signature sneaker could be releasing in a brand new colorway next year.
According to the sneaker leaker account @Soleheatonfeet, the latest “White/Obsidian/Dark Powder Blue” color scheme of the popular Air Jordan 13 will hit shelves in summer ’21. Given its far-off launch date, early photos have yet to surface but a rendering created by @zSneakerheadz suggests that it will come in a predominately white color blocking while subtle dark powder blue hits cover the heel counter, sock liner, and parts of the midsole. Adding to the look are bright blue accents covering the tongue’s Jumpman logo and the borders of the rubber outsole.

While the details regarding its inspiration haven’t been revealed, the makeup appears to be inspired by the team colors of the Charlotte Hornets, a team that Jordan currently has a majority ownership in.

The Air Jordan 13 was designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield in the late ’90s, which MJ debuted on the NBA courts during the 1997-98 season. This is one of seven Air Jordan models that Jordan wore during his championship run in the ’90s where he captured six titles total.
At the time of publication, Jordan Brand has confirmed the release details surrounding this upcoming Air Jordan 13 style but it’s expected to be launching on the SNKRS app and at select retailers sometime next summer.
