Adoptable pets: Meet Lulu & Lucy

Do you enjoy being happy? Yes? Would you like to be happier? How about TWICE as happy? We have the answer to doubling your happiness.

Lucy and Lulu (A194490 & A194489) are two senior, 8ish-year-old sisters that are perfect. Seriously. These staff favorite hounds are the perfect lap size (44 pounds), get along with kids, cats and dogs alike and are always happy to see you.

They have never met a stranger and bring a smile to the face of all who are lucky enough to meet them. They enjoy sofas, scritches and treats. They came to us with some old lady lumps and bumps and we removed some of the larger lumps on Lulu and she’s healing great and seems so much happier to not have that extra weight holding her down.

These girls are intensely bonded and we want to see them go into a home together for their golden years. They are active, don’t jump up, are reliably housetrained and are very quiet for hounds. These two gals are really, truly great and we want the best possible home for them.

Their foster family says that they are "happy, curious and open" and when asked what they like best about them, they said they love their "Relaxed demeanor. Loves a good walk and sniff, but content to laze around all day. Likes to be near you, but not insistent about it."

Lulu & Lucy’s adoption fee would be $30 each, which includes the spay surgery, vaccines, & microchip + registration.
