According to Lily Collins, the Ghosts of Ted Bundy’s Victims Visited Her Prior to ‘Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil & Vile’
Lily Collins revealed that she believes in ghosts after filming Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, and her chilling story may just make you a believer, too.
In a recent interview with The Guardian, the 30-year-old actress discussed the highly anticipated film and revealed that her prep work for the role resulted in a paranormal incident involving the ghosts of Ted Bundy’s victims.
It all started when Collins began waking up at exactly 3:05 a.m. Although she didn’t think anything of it at first, that all changed when it became a routine.
“I would go downstairs and have a cup of tea, trying to figure out why I had woken up again,” she said. “I started being woken up by flashes of images, like the aftermath of a struggle.”
After some Googling, Collins was horrified to discover “that 3am is the time when the veil between the realms is the thinnest and one can be visited.”
At this point, the actress was fully convinced that Bundy’s victims were sending her messages. While our first reaction would probably be to scoff (or burn the place to the ground), Collins saw it as their way of showing support.
“I didn’t feel scared—I felt supported,” she added. “I felt like people were saying: ‘We’re here listening. We’re here to support. Thank you for telling the story.’” *Shivers*
Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile introduces viewers to the notorious serial killer Ted Bundy (Zac Efron), who committed 36 murders between 1974 and 1978. The story is told from the perspective of Bundy’s ex-girlfriend, Liz Kloepfer (Collins).
Luckily, Lily Collins ain’t afraid of no ghosts. Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile is now streaming on Netflix.
