On abortion, Tim Scott calls for ban after 15 weeks gestation | Conversation with the Candidate

Tim Scott answered a question about the issue of abortion during the televised portion of his "Conversation with the Candidate" town hall. The Republican U.S. senator from South Carolina said that while the U.S. Supreme Court's decision on abortion kicked the issue to the states, he said he'd fight as president to push for a federal ban after 15 weeks gestation. Scott also answered questions about improving bipartisanship, the national debt and whether he believes American is ready for a third-party presidential candidate.
