Here are 9 community pools in South Jersey
So, school is almost out and vacation is about to begin for some.
And, with the summer months, comes the desire to take a dip in a pool.
But how about those local pools where the fees aren’t so astronomical and that allow non-residents to take part in the fun?
From Collingswood to Atlantic City, there are plenty of offerings.
Community Pools, Camden
Camden has two community pools that are free for residents and normally open in July. The pools can be found at 6th and Erie Streets at the North Camden Community Center as well as 8th Street and Carl Miller Boulevard at the Isabel Miller Community Center.
Both pools open daily from 1 to 5 p.m.
The North Camden pool is closed Monday and Tuesday for maintenance.
The pool at the Isabel Miller Community Center is closed Wednesday and Thursday for maintenance.
Crystal Lake Pool, Haddon Township
This pool offers memberships as well as individual day passes throughout the summer. Residents of Haddon Township can cool off for a day for $15 with proof of residency, while non-residents can purchase a one-day pass for $30.
Members can buy a one-day guest pass for out-of-town guests at a discounted rate of $20 per day.
Harrah's Resort, Atlantic City
Harrah’s offers pool admission for non-guests starting at $30 all year for those 21 and older. Sunday through Friday is $20 per hotel room (for two guests). Each additional guest is $10 per person. The pool is under a glass-domed “oasis” with a consistent 82-degree temperature.
Holly City Swim Club, Millville
This swim club offers various price points, including single senior memberships at $300, single membership at $350, couples' membership $400 and family memberships for $575.
Greenwood Park Bells Lake Community Club, Washington Township
Memberships start at $400 for seniors and $630 for individuals, but the pool is open to non-residents and allows members to bring guests for a $5 guest credit.
Riverwinds Community Center, West Deptford
Residents and non-residents may purchase annual passes to the center’s amenities (excluding classes).
Day passes, which include the pool, are only available for West Deptford residents or guests of Riverwinds members.
Resident passes start at $20 for families or $10 for adults with discounts for children and seniors. Non-residents who are guests of members can expect to pay at increased rates ($30 for family passes and $15 for adults).
Roberts Pool, Collingswood
Season pool tags and day passes are available for families and individuals at this outdoor community pool. Passes are $15 for Collingswood residents and $30 for non-residents. The pool season runs from June 19 to Sept. 2.
Tilton Pool, Northfield
This outdoor pool offers memberships to residents and nonresidents, starting at $235 for a single membership and $450 for a family membership with different rates for seniors, couples and guest passes.
Willingboro Township
Willingboro has two public pools available to residents and non-residents.
Country Club and Pennypacker pools are open daily beginning June 29. Country Club pool opened on weekends on Memorial Day weekend.
Senior tags are $65 for residents and non-residents. Family tags are $400 for residents and $500 for non-residents.
Seven-day passes are $25 for residents and $35 for non-residents. Single season passes are $75 for residents and $100 for non-residents.
