Mitchell Tenpenny concert
Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Aiken Theatre inside the Old National Events Plaza, 715 Locust St. in Evansville. Tickets start at $35, not including taxes and fees.
You may know rising country pop singer Mitchell Tenpenny from his breakthrough 2018 hit "Drunk Me." His most recent album, "This Is the Heavy," features the No. 1 song "Truth About You." Tenpenny has been an opener for Jason Aldean and also tours with Luke Combs on his stadium tour.
2024 Evansville Museum Geek Con
Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science, 411 SE Riverside Drive. Price is $12 for adults, $8 for kids and free for museum members.
The Evansville Museum Geek Con is a day devoted to celebrating the arts, science, and history of geek culture. The event will feature panels and presentations, hands-on activities, board games, a vendor room, and a cosplay contest.
Evansville Otters baseball
Friday and Saturday at 6:35 p.m.; Sunday at 12:35 p.m., Bosse Field in Garvin Park. Tickets start at $5.
The Evansville Otters continue their 2024 season with a three-game set against the Gateway Grizzlies. Saturday is "Educator Appreciation Night" at the ballpark.

Franklin Street Bazaar
Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. along West Franklin Street. Free.
This weekly market is on the lawn of the EVPL West Branch Library with hundreds of vendors from local farmers and producers to bakers to artists and craftsmen having pop-up shops for visitors to check out local products.
