At 48, Jennifer Garner's Flawless Skin Glows In New No-Makeup Pic Celebrating Easter
Jennifer Garner just shared a flawless no-makeup Instagram celebrating Easter.
She has a pretty low-key skincare routine, with sunscreen playing a big role.
The actress also keeps her skin wrinkle-free with retinol and hyaluronic acid products.
Jennifer Garner has her own pretend cooking show on Instagram, so of course she came to play on Easter. The mom of three shared a sweet snap of specialty goodies she baked for the holiday, and they don't just look delicious—they're pretty adorable, too.
In the pic, the Yes Day actress holds a tray of buns shaped like bunnies. "Happy Easter!" the 48-year-old wrote in the caption. While the bunny buns are amazing, it’s hard to miss the fact that Jen is makeup free—and her skin looks gorgeous.
"?????? you are so pretty without makeup! Natural beauty!" one person wrote in the comments. "Have you been drinking from the fountain of youth?!?!" another said.
Okay, but how? No shocker here: Jennifer keeps her skincare routine as low-key as her attitude.
The Neutrogena ambassador previously told Women’s Health that she likes to stick to the basics. That means kicking things off with a cleansing bar. "Since my sisters and I always used it when we were teenagers, I’m a big fan of the Neutrogena Amber Beauty Bar," she says. "I love the smell of it. It’s super nostalgic for me. I love how clean it feels on your skin. It’s what I have my daughters use. It’s a no-brainer, perfect product."
She’s also big on making sure her skin gets its daily dose of SPF. "I always say there is nothing more important than sunscreen," the Peppermint star said. "No matter what, as soon as you brush your teeth, even if you think you're not going anywhere, you still have to put it on. You have to make it a part of your routine. That is how you get to look like you are 30-something. Nothing looks better in your 50s than sunscreen in your 20s."
She also reaches for Neutrogena products when it comes to anti-aging serums, preferring the brand’s Rapid Wrinkle Repair Oil. "There are two things that really make a difference in the makeup of skin cells. One is retinol, and the other is hyaluronic acid," Jennifer said. "You have to figure out how sensitive your skin is to retinol. It might work for you wearing it every other day, every night, or every week. For me, the Rapid Wrinkle Repair Oil at night is everything. It’s just right."
Jennifer is also big about hydrating her skin. "It’s all about moisture. There are just so many great, different ways to get moisture into your skin," she said.
Clearly, all that's working for her—Jennifer isn’t shy about no-makeup selfies. And, with skin like that, can you blame her?
