Last night, the 2020 People's Choice Awards single-handedly proved that red carpets aren't dead.
Thanks to some strategic planning, and ensuring COVID-19 safety protocols were put in place, the show went on — and brought some gorgeous celebrity beauty moments with it, especially from Mandy Moore.
While Moore is often down to play with blue eyeshadow or a bold lip on the red carpet, she went for an understated makeup look for her first red carpet since the pandemic hit and announcing she's pregnant with her first child, by pairing dewy skin with soft, glowy eye makeup.
The effortless feel is peak 2020, a year where a full-glam looks are being ditched for quick five-minute Zoom-ready makeup and products that double as skincare.

"The dress is so classic and chic, so we wanted to keep the makeup and skin really fresh and glowing," Moore's makeup artist Kindra Mann tells InStyle. "Since the dress was navy and has a high neck, it seemed perfect to pair clean dewy skin, flirty lashes, and a nice berry stain for a 'less is more' feel."
Mann worked exclusively with products from Kosas, a clean beauty brand that infuses its formulas with tried-and-true skincare ingredients for added benefits.
The key to Moore's radiant complexion is the brand's Tinted Face Oil, a cult-favorite product that offers lightweight, dewy coverage, plus hydration for the skin.
"I love that this product isn’t heavy and is the perfect foundation for when you want a little coverage and can easily be applied with a brush, sponge or fingertips," Mann shares.
Mann also used the Revealer Concealer under Moore's eyes and around the nose for added coverage, plus The Sun Show Bronzer and Color & Light Palette in Papaya 1972 for added glow and a soft flush of color on the cheeks.

For Moore's shimmery champagne eye, the makeup artist applied a the 10-Second Eyeshadow in Globe across the star's lids, a few Lashify false lashes on the center and outer corners of her lashes, then finished things off with a few coats of The Big Clean Mascara for extra volume.
A swipe of Kosas' Weightless Lipstick in Vegas, a tawny nude shade, brought Moore's effortless makeup look together.
While Moore wore this look on a red carpet, the easy look might just be the answer to Zoom's unforgiving camera quality.
