This was a banner year for weddings, boasting not one, but two royal affairs. But Meghan Markle and Princess Eugenie weren't the only buzz-generating brides of the year, nor were their respective nuptials the only buzzy affairs-there were a many top notch secret ceremonies too, for example Tory Burch and Pierre-Yves Roussel and Barbara Pierce Bush and Craig Coyne. From the ultra-lavish, to the uber understated and intimate, these were the 23 biggest weddings of 2018.
Barbara Pierce Bush and Craig Coyne
Barbara Pierce Bush tied the knot with Craig Coyne in an intimate 20-person ceremony at her family's Kennebunkport, Maine compound on Sunday, October 8. The bride's grandfather, George H.W. Bush, who passed away on November 30, was in attendance. The bride wore a custom ivory silk crepe Vera Wang gown to say her vows.
Karlie Kloss and Josh Kushner
Kloss and Kushner got engaged over the summer and surprised everyone by marrying in a small Jewish ceremony in upstate New York on October 18. The supermodel bride wore Dior for the occasion and the couple is said to be planning a separate, and larger celebration for their friends and family this spring.
Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk
The GOOP-founder and Oscar-winning actress tied the knot with her TV-producer husband Brad Falchuk in top secret Amagansett in late September.

The German duchess tied the knot with the French aristocrat in a small ceremony at Saint Quirin Church in the Castle of Tegernsee, near the Bavarian Alps in Germany. The bride looked stunning in a simple white three quarter-length sleeve dress and following the ceremony the couple marched down the street in a celebratory parade.
Joe Scarborough and Mika Brezinkski
The longtime couple (and Morning Joe co-hosts) married in an intimate ceremony officiated by Congressman Elijah Cummings over Thanksgiving weekend. The bride wore a white polka-dotted tea-length Milly dress and the couple celebrated with their family and friends at Chez Billy Sud in Washington D.C. after saying their vows in front of the Constitution, Declaration of Independence and Bill of Rights in the National Archives.
Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank
The second of Queen Elizabeth's grandchildren to get married in 2018, Princess Eugenie wed Jack Brooksbank on Friday, October 12, wearing custom Peter Pilotto for their ceremony in Windsor, before changing into blush custom Zac Posen for the evening's festivities.

In one of the most extravagant wedding ceremonies of the year, superstar influencer Chiara Ferragni married Italian singer Fedez in an outdoor ceremony at Dimora delle Balze, a secluded 19th century palazzo in Noto. The bride wore a Dior wedding gown to say her vows following a multi-day set of festivities.
