121-year-old photo sparks Greta Thunberg conspiracy theory: ‘She’s here to save us’
A Greta Thunberg lookalike in a 121-year-old photo has sparked a new conspiracy theory about the environmentalist being a time traveler.
People on Twitter have started to claim that one of the people in the photo from 1898 that shows three children from the Yukon Territory in Canada has a face that’s so identical to Thunberg’s that it couldn’t possibly be anybody else. The girl said to be Thunberg also has the same braided hairstyle that the Swedish teen is known for. And although the timeline certainly doesn’t add up, many are saying that it’s proof that Thunberg is from a different time.

The photo was resurfaced from archives at the University of Washington. Those in favor of the conspiracy have even shared their logic that Thunberg must have traveled to 2019 to warn everyone about the detriment to the environment that is to come.

Some have offered up other explanations, suggesting that she’s either immortal or reincarnated.
This stuff on Greta Thunberg being a time traveller is ridiculous, there’s no such thing as time travel.

Many still oppose the theory and the fact that so many people are talking about it.
There was a time not long ago when a "theory" like this would get a chuckle and if someone was seriously pushing it we may pity their instability. Nowadays any of these "theories" can grow legs and become "reality" to 1000's of Americans.
