Kissing onscreen may be awkward for the actors to film, but it's totally mesmerizing for us to watch. What could be better than kicking back on your couch, snacks at the ready, watching some of your favorite rom-com, and getting swept up in their love story? Who among us hasn't yelled at the TV screen for characters to get out of their head and tell the other person how they truly feel? It's fun watching love stories unfold and seeing the ~magic~ happen in front of your own eyes.
From classic romances such as The Notebook to newer films like Hulu's Crush, we've compiled some of the sexiest, most iconic movie kisses of all time to really get you in your feelings. We've even included a couple of special entries as a surprise.

There are several great kisses in the TATBIL franchise, but the hot tub scene gets top billing in our book. Who wouldn't want to make out with Peter Kavinsky?!

Moonlight (2016)
Like with TATBIL, Ashton Sanders and Jharrel Jerome also won "Best Kiss" at the 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards. While accepting the award, Ashton said, "This represents more than a kiss. This is for those who feel like the others, the misfits; this represents us."
Spider-Man (2002)
This creative smooch actually made our list for best kissing positions to try during your next make-out session.
Love & Basketball (2000)
There are a lot of steamy moments in this sports-centric, coming-of-age classic, including when characters Monica and Quincy decide to sleep together for the first time. It's a raw, intimate moment we don't always get to see in movies.
Moreover, the younger versions of their characters had the cutest kissing scene at the beginning of the movie.
Crush (2022)
Sometimes (most times), playing 7 Minutes in Heaven is way more awkward than it is heavenly, but for Paige and AJ in this Hulu movie, it's clearly a kiss that dreams are made of.
Anything's Possible (2022)
Transgender student Kelsa and her classmate, Khal, have the cutest first date and, right before it ends, Kelsa asks Khal if he wants to make out. The perfect ending to a romantic day.

You'd think being covered in paint and kissing in a hay bale wouldn't be sexy, but it is if you're being kissed by bad boy Patrick Verona.

The Kissing Booth (2018)
"Because all this happened just because of a kissing booth," Elle said at the end of the Netflix movie. That one kiss quickly became the catalyst for the film and left us hardcore swooning until the end credits rolled.
Moonshot (2022)
The big kiss scene between Lana Condor and Cole Sprouse's characters had some hilarious issues behind the scenes. The duo told Seventeen that the day they were going to film the kiss, Cole had a bronchial infection. (He tested negative for COVID-19, FYI.)
"I took one for the team, big time," Lana joked. "Show must go on," Cole quipped back. Cole told Lana that she could either do the stage kiss and probably end up getting sick, or she could tell the producers she didn't want to kiss him while he was sick, which would then extend the shoot. "The most traumatic scene was kissing Cole," Lana teased.
From Here to Eternity (1953)
This classic movie smooch between a sergeant and his army wife was fairly risqué cinema back in the '50s. (Apparently, the couple actually have sex on the beach in James Jones's novel on which the movie was based.)
If this kiss looks familiar to you, but you know you've never seen this old movie, it's probably because Shrek 2 parodied it. In the animated farce, Shrek accidentally kissed a mermaid in a similar fashion, only to then have Fiona drag the mermaid away and throw her back into the ocean.
Lady and the Tramp (1955)
While there's nothing sexy about two cartoon dogs kissing, this animated kiss is way too iconic to leave off of our list. You'll always think of this scene whenever you eat spaghetti.
