As we head into the weekend, you might already be looking forward to what you'll be eating. After a long week, it's the prime time to treat yourself, but if you feel like saving some cash, you should know that Wendy's is offering a promotion that will get you food for just $1. Here's everything you need to know.
By now I'd hope you've finally downloaded the Wendy's app in order to hear about the available deals as soon as they become available. The promotion is essentially a BOGO deal, where you have the choice between four different Wendy's menu items. When you order one, you can choose a second one to add on for only $1.
Options include 10-piece spicy chicken nuggets, 10-piece crispy chicken nuggets, the spicy chicken sandwich, the classic chicken sandwich, or Dave's single. Dave's single is a quarter-pounder beef patty, American cheese, crisp lettuce, tomato, pickle, ketchup, mayo, and onion all put together on a toasted bun, FYI.
You can obviously mix up your order to get a little taste of everything, but I myself am a creature of habit and would totally double up on nuggets to have some spicy and some classic, in case you were wondering.
To claim the deal yourself, you'll have to have the Wendy's app on your phone (so download it if you don't have it already!) and fill your cart with one of the aforementioned menu items. When you do that, you'll qualify for another item from those choices for the added cost of one single dollar. You have until September 5 to take advantage of the BOGO deal, so keep this in your back pocket for those nights you don't feel like cooking.
