Zendaya, Tom Holland Reportedly Got Engaged Over The Holidays
And just like that, Zendaya and Tom Holland are off the market! TMZ has confirmed that Holland popped the question to his longtime girlfriend during the holidays.
After the Challengers star flaunted a stunning east-to-west diamond that didn’t align with the rest of her Bulgari jewelry at the 2025 Golden Globes, TMZ revealed that he proposed between Christmas and New Year’s Day in a “very intimate setting” with just the two of them—and their dogs— present.
Sources say that the couple are in no rush to plan their wedding, but as an extra dose of classic sweetness, Holland asked Zendaya’s dad, Kazembe Ajamu Coleman, “months ago” for her hand in marriage.
TMZ added that “this was an important step [because] he’s very traditional and felt it was important to secure [her dad’s] blessing first.”
Coleman happily approved and Zendaya’s family is reportedly “very excited for this next chapter in her relationship,” describing Holland as “a class act.”
Neither Zendaya nor her Spider-Man costar have confirmed the news themselves, but once fans spotted that rock on her finger on Sunday evening, the congratulatory messages flooded social media. The LA Times reported that she was directly asked if she was engaged, and she simply “kept showing her ring, smiled coyly and shrugged her shoulders mysteriously.”
They met back in 2017 on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming. Rumors of them dating surfaced, but nothing was concrete until they were then seen kissing in 2021— the same year Spider-Man: No Way Home was released. Their relationship became Instagram official that September. Over the years, they’ve been relatively private about their relationship, limiting their PDA to birthdays and other select milestones.
