Zac Efron says his ripped 'Baywatch' body is 'unrealistic': 'I don't want to glamorize this'
Zac Efron’s appearance on “Ellen” took an unexpected turn after the host surprised the actor with his Madame Tussauds wax lookalike. Modeled after his character from the movie “Baywatch,” the figure is shirtless, clad only in a bathing suit and displays an overwhelmingly chiseled physique.
Efron then took the opportunity to send a message of body positivity to viewers at home. “For guys that’s unrealistic...I got very big and buff for that movie but I don’t want people to think that’s the best way to be,” he said. “Be your size. I don’t want to glamorize this,” the actor said to cheers.

Viewers on Twitter applauded Efron for his encouraging message.
@TheEllenShow having @ZacEfron on your show brought tears to my eyes at 8:30am so thanks for that. But seriously thank you Zac for telling young men to be "their size" and not to glamorize buff men. The body image issue is talked about with woman but not as much with men.

@ZacEfron on @TheEllenShow saying he doesn’t want to glamorise the Baywatch ripped body and you should just be whatever size you are with a completely genuine sentiment was such a nice moment. He seems like such a lovely guy pic.twitter.com/h0VHidwW6x
