Yelp names Jacksonville restaurant among US top romantic spots for Valentine's Day Dinner

A year ago, Jacksonville's Restaurant Orsay was named to Yelp's list of Top 20 Most Romantic Places to Eat in Florida. This year, the popular Avondale restaurant made the popular review site's nationwide list.

Recently released, Yelp ranked Orsay No. 70 in its Top 100 Romantic Restaurants for Valentine's Day Dinner in 2024. The restaurant is one of a dozen in Florida named in the list.

Launched in 2008 by chef/restaurateur Jonathan Insetta, the French cuisine restaurant at 3630 Park St. is an Avondale neighborhood favorite as well as a date-night destination. 

On the menu, you’ll find entrees ranging from Pan Roasted Duck Breast, Beef Stroganoff and Steak Frites to Lobster Pot Pie, Prince Edward Island Mussels Frites and Grand Bouillabaise. The menu also features a large raw bar selection and house-made charcuterie.

Orsay’s 25-page wine and liquor list offers the perfect pairing to your meal.

And think of Orsay’s dessert menu as an invitation: whatever you can’t try on this visit will be waiting for your return visit. There’s Crème Brulee, Apple Tart Tatin, Turtle Cheesecake, Chocolate Mousse Cake, Raspberry Almond Cake and more.

Yelp compiled its list of romantic restaurants in Florida, in part, via a search of its reviews for key words and phrases like “romantic,” “date night” and “valentine.”
