Ye Delivers Unique Performance At Japanese Pro Wrestling Event
Kanye West was in Japan this past weekend and decided to stop by a pro wrestling event. He entered the ring to give what fans thought would be a performance of some recent music, but instead did the most Ye thing ever.
American fashion designer Alexander Wang partnered with Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling to host Wangmania, which featured multiple fashion and music performances. The headlining matchup of the evening was Mizuki & Nao Kakuta taking on Miyu Yamashita & Yuki Kamifuku.
Footage surfaced online of West in the ring while his recent hit “Carnival” played, though the Chicago producer curiously did not have a microphone. Instead, he danced in the ring and rapped along to the track without anyone hearing him. Attendees claim he also performed “Talking” with Ty Dolla $ign, his track which gained popularity because it featured his daughter North West. Check out the footage below.
Attendees had cameras out to document West’s surprise performance of “Carnival,” which went No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has spent 18 weeks on the chart. The track was part of his recent collaborative album Vultures with Ty Dolla $ign, which spent two weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
Kanye West appearing at a TJPW show isn’t a complete shock, as he has previously shown an affinity for Japanese combat sports. Last year, he attended a sumo wrestling show in Japan alongside his wife Bianca Censori.
Though he seemed to be having a good time, there are some impending legal issues on his docket whenever he returns to the United States. Ye was accused of sexual harassment by his former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, in a recent lawsuit. Pisciotta claims that West sent her multiple explicit text messages and that she caught him masturbating on a few occasions.
“See my problem is I be wanting to f**k but then after I f**k I want a girl to tell me how hard they been f**ked while I’m f**king them,” Kanye West allegedly wrote in one text message. “Then I want her to cheat on me.” In another text, he wrote “Is my d*ck racist? I’m going to stare at pictures of white women with black a**es and beat the sh*t out of my racist d*ck.”
As far as pleasing himself, Lauren Pisciotta claims it happened once while they were talking on the phone and another time after he locked them in a room together after a private flight to Paris. She also alleged that the “Good Life” artist was obsessed with knowing the size of her boyfriend’s penis and would send her footage of him having sex with models.
Pisciotta claims she was fired in 2022 after rejecting a $4 million offer to be the Yeezy Chief Of Staff. Her lawsuit is filed on the grounds of wrongful termination and breach of contract, and she is seeking $3 million in severance, allegedly promised to her but never actually paid.
Ye has since slammed these claims, releasing the below statement:
In response to these baseless allegations, Ye will be filing a lawsuit against Ms. Pisciotta, who actively pursued him sexually to coerce employment and other material benefits, then engaged in blackmail and extortion when her advances were rejected.
Prior to her termination as an assistant, Ms. Pisciotta stole his cell phone in an attempt to destroy phone records that would contradict her claims, all of which have been preserved. She was terminated for being unqualified, demanding unreasonable sums of money (including a $4 million annual salary) and numerous documented incidents of her lascivious, unhinged conduct.
During her employment Ms. Pisciotta offered Ye sex on his birthday to which he declined, sent Ye unsolicited nude images, sexual narratives and was seen twerking in the office during business hours. On one occasion, Pisciotta boasted how the best moment of her life was when she was being ejaculated on by a soccer player while simultaneously texting her boss.
It is well documented how Ms. Pisciotta consistently used sexual coercion in an attempt to demand not only money but material items, namely Hermes Birkin bags, a Lamborghini and an endless quest for plastic surgery. Upon having her advances rebuked, Pisciotta’s blackmail demands have gone from $60M last year to $50M in last week’s frivolous filing. Such behavior is entirely inconsistent with someone who claims to have been sexually harassed or experienced a hostile work environment.
It is evident that Ms. Pisciotta leveraged her association with Ye and his company, and her proximity to him, to seek material gains, clout, and employment through inappropriate means. Her initial attempt at a lawsuit for unlawful termination gained no media traction, leading her to fabricate headlines following threats of blackmail and extortion.
Ye isn’t the only celebrity targeted by Pisciotta. Jay Leno is suing her for stealing his chin.
